With more than 20 years experience in communications, marketing, and public relations, Trinette Marquis is passionate about working with public schools. Her work has been recognized by the National School Public Relations Association, Medical Marketing Association, and the International Association of Business Communicators. She is a Past President of the California School Public Relations Association and regularly presents to statewide and national audiences on school communication practices.  She is also a part-time lecturer at California State University, Sacramento.

 

Trinette's work has earned the highest school public relations recognition possible when she and her district superintendent accepted the “Leadership in Communication Award” from the American Association of School Administrators and the National School Public Relations Association. She also received her Accreditation in Public Relations through the Public Relations Society of America in 2013.

 

After serving for many years as a communications director for multiple districts, Trinette decided to follow in the footsteps of her entrepreneurial husband and start SchoolPRPro in 2012. She works extensively with school districts and county offices of education, assisting them in communications research, building and strengthening PR departments, strategic planning, training and special projects.
