Research

Arguably the most important step in developing a new project or plan, doing your research can save time, energy and resources throughout the life of an endeavor. The first step is understanding the nature of the issue, challenge or opportunity and what pieces of information are still needed to develop an appropriate plan for success. Quantitative research provides broad themes and general areas of support and conflict. Qualitative research provides the individual voice that colors our understanding and comprehension. Across all types of research, cultural proficiency, implicit bias and equity are important to acknowledge and consider.
